Behind The Lens

I sometimes describe myself as an “opportunistic photographer”.

I don’t go in search of photos. I go adventuring and I take my camera along.

Camera in hand or not, I believe that you can stand in awe every day.

I take photos of things inspire me with the hope that later those photos might inspire curiosity in others.
Curiosity about adventure; about life; about the experience of being a human being.

Sometimes it's the eagle that catches your eye.
Sometimes it's the dandelion growing sideways out of a tree; or the soft and persistent tap of a woodpecker working away.
And sometimes it's the tiniest pink flowers that make your spirit feel alive with excitement that spring has indeed arrived.
Whatever it is, find it, and let it fill you with awe.
